The 6STG team focuses on design, engineering, and development of comprehensive process and software "systems". 6STG represents a new breed of both the software solutions provider and the Quality consultant. We leverage our two core skill-sets (Operations Excellence/Quality and, Information Technology) providing highly engineered process centric solutions.

To appreciate the gravity of our offerings, one must recognize that all software applications automate processes. Historically, software applications were deployed with little effort to improve the processes being automated. Hence, in many cases bad processes were automated. Evidence of this is the incredible number of software systems shelved over the last decade and the lack of process engineering skill within software product and solutions firms.

As the first true process automation engineering firm, 6STG solves this problem through the application of Six Sigma, Lean, and state of the art technology to create highly efficient, ever improving processes. The use of Six Sigma upon core processes reveals which process to automate and, in most cases, that less expensive information technology is needed.

With over fourteen years experience in Quality, operations, and software engineering, we combine standards and practices from traditional engineering disciplines with software development skill and business knowledge in areas such as procurement, field service, support, sales, marketing, education, training, manufacturing, logistics, IT services, project management, finance, telecommunications, SQC/SQA, lean manufacturing, and JIT. We leverage these assets to create Web enabled Quality centric processes that will continually evolve to meet your needs.

6 Sigma Technology Group was formed in early 2001 by a team of innovative process/Quality centric executives and technologists that recognized three fundamental principles.

First, companies providing information technology solutions need to be experts in business processes regardless of the technology. All applications automate processes and all process improvements leverage information technology. Hence, it makes sense to use the most proven process engineering techniques integrated with technology deployment.

Second, business software solutions should be less expensive and add value by enabling process excellence for the processes they automate. Companies pay too much and receive little on software systems.

Third, the fundamental principles of TQM and Six-Sigma Quality credited for the success of so many companies must find their way into the information systems that run these companies.

Hence, our decision upon the name 6 Sigma Technology Group was made. We envision the company as the highest Quality, highest value in process performance management or operational excellence products and services - a firm that is focused on delivering the highest quality, experts in our field, and at a reasonable price.

Within the company we have two primary core competencies that act as the conduit for making these premises into a working strategy. These two primary core competencies are (1) expertise in Operations Science (Six-Sigma/TQM, Lean, Baldrige), and (2) expertise in software development. We have found that these competencies are very complementary and of great desire to our customers. The reason these competencies are so important is that all software projects automate processes and all process engineering efforts have an impact on information systems. Yet, very few people or consulting firms specialize in both. We bring the world's best process engineering techniques together with leading edge information technology. The reason these competencies are important to our customers is simple - companies realize that the best way to currently increase profitability is to cut costs while maintaining or improving outputs (increase efficiency). As proven by numerous corporations such as GE, Motorola, Toyota, etc. Six Sigma is the best way to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction. Our customers recognize this fact and are willing to invest in Six Sigma and associated technology to achieve Six Sigma level results.

• Route 66 West
• North on Route 28 (Sully Road)
• East on Route 50, move to the left lane immediately on route 50 and get into the left turning lane
• Travel .5 mi on Route 50 and then left (North) on Centerville Road
• Travel .47 mi on Centerville Road. Turn left on Skyhawk. At the four way stop turn left and then an immediate right into the Earhart Building lot . 6STG is located in the near corner upstairs.
